What Shakeology Will Cost You Retail

While the retail cost of Shakeology is advertised as $129.95, that is not the total cost.  After tax and shipping you end up spending $153.67.  That is the cost if you place a single order as a retail customer.  Seems like a lot, right?  No wonder you are looking for a Shakeology Discount!  However, if you are actually using it as a meal replacement shake, the price makes a lot more sense.  You are paying $5.12/meal.  Think about what you are currently spending on lunch, and what you are putting into your body.  Shakeology is 70+fruits, vegetables and herbs.  Is that healthier than what you are eating now?  Are you spending more than $5.12 now?  Now you see why I say Shakeology is worth it.  However, you are here to see the various Shakeology discounts, so let’s take a look.

Shakeology Discount #1 – Home Direct

This is the first way for you to save on Shakeology.  Remember, the cost of a single order is $153.67.  By simply changing your order to Home Direct, you drop the price to $141.65.  That is a savings of $12/month, or $144/year.  That is a big savings.  If you are going to be drinking Shakeology, get it on Home Direct.

Shakeology Discount #2 – Coach 1 Time Order

Before I get into the details here, let me make something very clear.  If you are 18 or older and live in the United States or Canada, YOU can become a Beachbody Coach.  OK, now that that is out of the way, let’s look at the discount.  As a Beachbody Coach, you receive a 25% discount on Shakeology, along with all of Beachbody’s fitness programs.  Sounds great, but I need to fill you in everything first.  While it would be great if you could just sign up as a coach and save 25%, there are fees associated with becoming a coach.  There is a $40 sign up fee, and the a $17 monthly fee for running your business sites (they give you 3 sites to promote the business opportunity and products).  You still save money though.  Let’s look at the numbers.

If you were going to order Shakeology 1 time as a customer, you would pay $153.67.

As a coach, you would pay the $40 sign up fee (includes your first monthly fee), and then $117.28 for the actual Shakeology.  That totals $157.95.  Wait a second, that’s $4 more than regular retail!  YES, but that is because of the $40 sign up fee.

After 2 months you will have paid $307.34 for Shakeology.  As a coach your total would now be $292.28.  After 2 months, even factoring your business fees, you will have now saved about $15.  After month 3 you will have save about $34, and just over $50 after month 4.  It is well worth it, however, that is not the best deal.
