5 Easy Weight Loss Diet Tips To Help You Reach Your Goals

diet tips for weight lossI think you’ll agree with me when I say that weight loss can be challenging.  I also think that you will agree with me that looking in the mirror and being happy with what you see would be amazing!  I’m going to share 5 weight loss diet tips that, if you put them into use, will help you reach your weight loss goal.

I’m willing to bet that you have looked up weight loss tips before.  You have probably tried different diets, maybe some different workout programs, maybe even some diet supplements.  Have you stuck with any of them?  If you have your why, you may have, and you are just here looking for a little something extra to help you reach your goals.  If not, these 5 tips may do nothing for you, because if you do not have your why, you will more than likely not stick with it.  Don’t take these tips lightly.  These are not complex tips.  Like I said in the title, they are easy weight loss tips.  Put them into practice and stick with them.

5  Easy Weight Loss Tips

  1. Stay Hydrated – Remember, I said these are easy.  Drink plenty of water.  Study after study have shown that people who are properly hydrated have lower BMI (Body Mass Index).  I get it, water is not exciting.  Try this.  If you are not going to become an 8 glass a day person, start with 3.  The timing matters.  Drink a glass of water 30 minutes before breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  Research shows that people who do this tend to consume less calories during meals.
  2.   3. Don’t Drink your Calories – I’d say I used to be guilty of drinking more chocolate milk in a week than an average family of 5 drinks in a month.  What is your beverage vise?  Fancy coffee? Alcohol?  Whatever it is, keep it to a minimum.  I am NOT saying to start drinking diet soda.  Not only are the chemicals in it still questionable, numerous studies have shown that people who regularly drink diet soda tend to GAIN weight.   Obviously the drink of choice should be water.  Like I said before, water is not exciting.  First off, remember what your why is.  Now, there are other options.  Find a tea that you like.  Allow yourself some calories, but reduce them from where you are now.  Every little bit helps.
  4. Simple Home Exercises – Maybe you go to the gym, run, swim, of have another workout that you enjoy.  If so, awesome!  That does not mean that you should ignore this step.  However, it is mainly geared toward people that live a more sedentary lifestyle.  There are so many simple home exercise that you can do, even if you don’t have any weights.  Squats, lunges (variations), bridges, pushups (variations), crunches, planks, jumping jacks, squat thrusts,  etc etc etc.  There are so many options.  You don’t need a ton of time to get in few sets a day.
