If you are thinking about becoming a coach, you are probably asking the same question I asked years ago. Do Beachbody Coaches really make money? The truth is, some do and some don’t. It is possible though, which I am going to prove to you in this post. While people tend to say that it is complicated, and it is hard to say if you will make money, it is actually pretty easy to explain.
How do Beachbody Coaches Make Money?
- Retail Commissions: When a Beachbody Coach sells a product, they make a 25% commission on the sale. This is how many coaches make money even when they do not have a team (other coaches that they have sponsored)
- Cycle Bonuses: Once you have a team going, you have the opportunity to earn commissions based on the volume that your team produces. They more that they produce, the more that you make.
- Additional Bonuses – As you work your way up the Beahcbody ladder, you become eligible for additional bonuses.
Most Coaches Do Not Make Money
I’m going to be very straight forward with you here. Like any network marketing businesses, most people involved do not make money, or at least the kind of money that they expect to. The truth is, most people join Beachbody because they think it is easy money. While there is incredible potential, it takes work, and many people do not put that work in.
Here is a few screen shots of my back office account when I first joined Beachbody. The first image is how my business went for a long time. I call it “My First 11 Months in Beachbody”.
As you can seem I was not making anything. Then, after way to much of the wrong kind of work, I made my first sale.
My First Beachbody Sale
I was paying $15.95 per month for my back office, and it took me 11 months to make my first $20. Talk about discouraging. I was talking to my friends and family, trying to convince people to join my business and buy my products. It wasn’t working. Another 2 months went by before I made any more sales. This time though, I made a little more money.
My First $100 Week
Now I began to get excited. but how did i do it? How did I go from not making anything for so long to starting to bring in sales? I stopped chasing down customers and let them come to me. I know, sounds too good to be true, right? here is what I did. I started learning how to market online. I’m not talking about paid marketing. After all, I wasn’t making any money to market with. I started a blog and Youtube channel, and started putting out content so that customers looking for Beachbody products would find me. As I created more content, I began to see more consistent sales.
Here is my first really solid stretch of sales.
Since then, I have had ups and downs with my business. I let myself lose focus a few times, and Google made some changes that hurt my sales. However, I keep coming back. Since joining Beachbody, I have made about $18,000. That number may not seem like much to some people, and it may seem like a lot to other people. As an underpaid and overworked special education teacher, it has been a big help for me. I have helped people around the world live healthier lives, and made money in the process.

How Much Money Do Beachbody Coaches Make?
My results are nothing glamorous, but they have made a difference in my life. There are Beachbody coaches who make so much more money than me it is insane, and there are coaches who make nothing. One of the coaches that I am working with right now was the first coach to make $1,000,000 with Beachbody, and has done it numerous times since then. That is obviously not typical. The image to the left is the most recent average yearly earnings that I could find for Beachbody Coaches.
There are numerous factors that play into whether or not you will make money as a Teach Beachbody Coach. It takes work, it takes time, and it takes persistence. I am happy to help you reduce the amount of time, because what I did at first took way too long. Nowadays, I don’t see any reason that a coach should not make their first sale in their first week.
