What Kills More, Obesity or Lack of Exercise

I recently read a great report that looked at which is more harmful, being obese or sedentary.  It found that just 20 minutes of brisk walking a day can make a HUGE difference.   Just that 20 minutes can reduce your risk of early death, even if you are obese of overweight. 

Team Beachbody CoachingI’m going to bore you with the numbers.  The important part of it all is that they found that it does not take anything crazy to increase your chances of living a longer life.  They used 20 minutes of brisk walking in the example, which is great for people with a time crunch.  I highly suggest checking out 10 Minute Trainer if you are looking for a quick workout.
This study takes away a lot of people’s excuses.  While I personally love my Team Beachbody Workout Programs, not everyone needs them.  Maybe you are really busy right now.  Maybe you only have a lunch break to walk a little.  DO IT!  You have a lot of control over your healthy.  I am sure that you have a reason that you want to be around.  Take care of yourself!
