Like I mentioned above, this program is much different than most Beachbody programs.  Instead of cranking up your heart rate and making you drip sweat, this program is low impact, and much more relaxing.

I am not saying that you will need to work in it, because you will.  Tai Cheng will help you become stronger, more flexible, it will improve your balance, and your focus.  Personally, I have always been into the extreme workouts.  I have done P90X, Insanity The Asylum, and Body Beast.  I have always had a fascination with Tai Chi though, and have wanted to try it.  This program seemed like the perfect opportunity.

Is It Worth The Money – Review of Tai Cheng

Let’s look at what you are getting for your money.  The program includes 12 different workouts, a food guide, a 90 day calender, and also includes a foam roller.  Assuming that the workouts are good, the program is definitely worth the money.  So, how are the workouts?  Let’s take look at the different phases of the program and get into more details.

Phase 1 – Each wokout in the first phase begins with an 18 minute warmup.  Following that, you work on various stance.  Everything in the first phase works together to teach you the first sequence.  These workouts are designed in a way that makes them easy to understand, and easy to follow.  This phase takes you through weeks 1-3.

Phase 2 – This phase will take you through weeks 4-6.  Things step it up a notch here.  The workout goes from 18 minutes in phase 1 to 26 minutes in phase 2.  If you want to feel like you are doing martial arts, this is where you will start to feel it!  You will also learn a new sequence.

Phase 3 – They continue the trend of increasing the difficulty.  You will draw upon everything that you have learned to this point.  The warmup changes once again, and ou will learn another new sequence.

Phase 4 – It’s Game Time!  In each of the first 3 phases you learned a sequence.  This is where you get to bring it all together.  A lot of people assume that Tai Cheng is easy.  They are very wrong.  You will work hard in this program, and in the end, it will all be worth it.  You will finish thi program feeling like belong in a martial arts movie.

Every phase will challenge you in a new way.  In the end you will have pushed yourself, learned a lot, increased your strength, balance and focus, and you will have tryly accomplished something.  As far as the program goes, my Tai Cheng Review is 10 out of 10!
