Small Change for Big Workout Results

Sometimes there are little changes that you can make in your workout routine to get build results.  When you are working out with the goal of weight loss, you want to make sure that you keep your heart rate up.  Here is a quick video to help you achieve your weight loss goals.

What is important is that you keep your heart rate up between sets.  There is a simple formula to figure out what your target heart rate is.

220 – your age = your max heart rate.  Your target heart rate is 65 to 85 percent of that number.  So, if you are 40, here is how you would find your number.

220 – 40 = 180

180 x .65 = 117

180 x .85 = 153

So, your goal is to stay between 117 and 153 beats per minute.
