6. Develop the S uccess Habit of Being Goal Oriented! There are lots of different techniques out there for goal setting. I will keep it simple. Make your goals realistic, time specific, and measurable.
Poorly Set Goal – I am going to lose weight
Proper Set Goal – I am going to lose 15 lbs by June 1st.
7. Visualize Your Goals and Believe YOU Can Attain Them! You want to be able to see each goal clearly. You want to lose 15 lbs? OK, what will you look like when you lose 15 lbs? How will you feel when you lose 15 lbs? You want to build a business? What will your bank account look like? See your goals as if they have already happened. You want a clear, vivid image in your mind.
8. Plan Your Work and Work Your Plan! OK, your goal is to to Become A Beachbody Coach and make $500/month helping people live healthier lives. That is GREAT! Now, how will you get there? What action steps do you need to take to grow your business. How long do you want it to take for you to reach that goal? What are your sub-goals that you can reach along the way? Figure this out, write it down and STICK TO IT!
9. DO NOT QUIT! Whatever your goal is, there is a good chance that you are going to face challenges. Are they going to stop you, or do you want to achieve your goal bad enough that you are going to push through them? A great way to help yourself handle the obstacles is to plan for them. When you set your goal, think about some of the challenges that you will face. Plan for them ahead of time. If you expect them, they will not hit you as hard when they happen.
