8 hour dietWhat Is The 8 Hour Diet?

Have you ever heard that eating small meals throughout the day is the best way to lose weight?  This diet says otherwise!  While most people will tell you that the key is spreading out small meals to keep your metabolism revved up, The 8 Hour Diet takes a different approach.  Instead of focusing on keeping your metabolism cranking all day, it focuses on depleting the stored energy (fat) that you have by restricting your food intake to only 8 hours per day.  Does it work?  Let’s take a look!

My 8 Hour Diet Review

This diet goes against everything that we have been taught about how to lose weight.  Does that mean that it is right or wrong?  No.  It does mean that it needs to be looked at closer.  Here is the closer look.  By limiting your food intake to an 8 hour span, you are essentially fasting for 16 hours each day.  Because of this, your body needs to get it’s energy from stored fat, which results in weight loss.  That is the simple way to look at it.  Sounds great, right?  If it were that simple, yes.  Here are a few of my concerns.

  1. By eating your days worth of calories in 8 hours, and not taking anything in for 16 hours, your blood sugar will vary greatly throughout the day.
  2. Fasting for 16 hours can be extremely challenging, and result in “cheating” on a regular basis.
8 Hour Diet and Shakeology

If You Are Serious About The 8 Hour Diet, You Need Shakeology

Now, there are ways to reduce the chance of these things happening.  If you eat the right foods during the 8 hours, and at the right times, you will reduce the severeness of your blood sugar fluctuation, which will help reduce hunger pains and cravings.  I believe that the secret to having true success with the 8 Hour Diet is Shakeology.  This nutrient packed, low glycemic shake will help ensure that your body is getting everything that it needs, and help you feel full longer, while helping maintain steady blood sugar during your fasting hours.

Ideally, I would not recommend the 8 Hour Diet as a way to lose weight.  Yes, people have lost weight with it.  There are better, healthier ways though.  Think about it.  Do you want to spend the rest of your life eating only 8 hours/day?  When you learn how to exercise right, and you take control of your nutrition in a realistic way, that is when you will see long lasting results.  Not only will you lose weight, but you will be healthier.  If you are determined to try this diet, click The 8-Hour Diet: Watch the Pounds Disappear Without Watching What You Eat!  If you are looking for a healthier, more long lasting way to lose weight and get fit, check out The Team Beachbody Challenge Packs.

Is The 8 Hour Diet Safe?

If you are able to get the necessary nutrients that you body needs in the 8 hours, you should be fine.  You may experience cravings, hunger pains, and even mood swings, but it shouldn’t make you sick.  The best way that I suggest getting all of the nutrients, along with reducing the cravings and hunger pains is Shakeology.

8 Hour Diet Review – Will up lose weight with it?

Chances are the you will lose some weight with the diet, if you can stick with it.  While it is definitely not the healthiest option out there for weight loss, it can help.  Overall, my top suggest remains a Challenge Pack from Beachbody
